A Lesson in Resizing

When making a tag, you of course need to resize your elements and tubes down to size. But did you know that if you don't resize it right it looks DISTORTED? Yes it does and this tutorial is going to show you how to resize. It's VERY SIMPLE!!

**You have a choice of resizing down using percentage or pixels. I prefer to go by percentage because it's easier for me but everyone is different. Whatever you feel comfortable with is good as long as you follow these instructions.**

IT IS IMPORTANT that you keep "LOCK ASPECT RATIO" checked when resizing. If that is unchecked, this is how things start looking distorted on your tags.

When resizing your elements while putting your tag together, you want to keep "RESIZE ALL LAYERS" unchecked. What that does is it ONLY resizes that element and not your whole tag.

When you're done with putting your tag together, you will want to resize your tag down. You want to make sure that "RESIZE ALL LAYERS" is checked at this point.

Here in Pimpin we ask that your tags/banners be no larger than 650px on its longest side and your avi's be no larger than 200px on its longest side. It is best to resize your tag down BEFORE you add the artists copyright information. Why? you may ask. Because if you resize the copyright info along with the tag, it'll make it harder to read and you may be asked to redo it.

And that is it to resizing. See, easy right? Any questions? PM me!
